THE DUBAI FOUNTAIN
At over 900 ft in length – equivalent to over two football pitches – The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake and performs to a selection of international melodies.
The fountain has a unique design comprising five circles of varying sizes and two arcs and features powerful water nozzles that shoot water up to impressive heights equivalent to that of a 50-story building.
Over 6,600 WET Superlights – the most advanced incandescent large fountain lights available today – and 25 color projectors create a visual spectrum of over 1,000 different water expressions while 50 color projectors provide a full spectrum of color with a total output of 1.5 million lumens.
The fountain performs to a range of different songs from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. When operational, the fountain has over 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any given moment.
Palm Jumeirah
The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers, and upmarket global restaurants. Food trucks offering snacks like shawarma dot the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk, popular for its views of the Dubai coastline and the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel. Beach clubs with spas and infinity pools turn into boisterous nightclubs with live DJs in the evening.
IMG World of Adventure
IMG Worlds of Adventure is an indoor amusement park in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. It is Dubai’s first mega themed entertainment destination. The park is divided into four "epic zones". Two of the four zones represent global brands Cartoon Network and Marvel, and the Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure zones are original concepts created by the IMG Group.
IMG Worlds of Adventure is the largest temperature controlled indoor themed entertainment destination in the world, covering an area in excess of 1.5 million square feet. With the capacity to welcome more than 20,000 guests a day, the destination features roller coasters, thrill rides, and other attractions based on popular Cartoon Network characters, iconic Marvel Super Heroes and animatronic dinosaurs. Other facilities include a variety of themed retail stores and dining venues and a 12-screen Novo cinema complex.
